Mr. Han Jo Woon, CEO of iM Lao Leasing Company, and Mr. Kim Min Woo, CEO of iM Lao Non-Deposit Taking Microfinance Institution, proudly represented iM Financial Group at the opening ceremony of the 4th Korean Ambassador Cup Lao Baseball Championship, held on October 23 at the Km16 Baseball Stadium in Vientiane.
The event commemorated the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Laos and the Republic of Korea (1995–2025), and was attended by H.E. Jung Yung Soo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Laos, and Mr. Khamphay Sisavanh, President of the Lao National Baseball and Softball Federation. The ceremony welcomed players, coaches, and fans from both countries, with six teams competing in this year’s championship.
As a founding supporter of Lao baseball, iM Financial Group has played a key role in the sport’s development—beginning with the construction of the Km16 stadium and continuing through its sponsorship of official uniforms for the Lao National Baseball Team. These uniforms will be worn proudly at upcoming major events, including the National Games and the SEA Games.
